Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the McHugh Creek trailhead. We will head to mile 2 of the Turnagain Arm trail and then head uphill. We will follow the gulley to the summit of the Potter Creek overlook. This will be an out and back route.
Lee Helzer will lead "Rays on Rainbow" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 in the Telephone Pole Rock parking area wearing bright colors (on the left after Beluga Point) on the Seward Highway. We will head up to the Turnagain Arm Trail and then diverge onto a ridge heading towards the Black Mesa. From there we will asses snow conditions and either continue up the North Face or the south west ridge of Rainbow Peak (hopefully) enjoying a beautiful sunset along the way. Ice axe, snowshoes, and micro spikes recommended.
From the summit we will take the standard route back to the Turnagain Arm Trail and return to the cars.
E. Marquez will lead "Repeats" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at Windy Corner at 6:20 pm for a short car pool to Falls creek Trailhead to avoid road running. We will repeat Sheep Thrills route from last week searching for a lost glove.

Correction. Meet for a 6:30 departure from the Falls creek trailhead. We will jog along the highway to the Falls Creek trailhead where we will attempt to follow the proposed new standard route up Sheep Thrills Ridge. We will return via locals trail.
E. Marquez will lead "Nobody Cares" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Rainbow trailhead. We will take an alternate trail to the ridge adjacent to Rainbow and return.
Jesse Gobeli will lead "Bird Creek 20K" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
The route is in and conditions are right for the Bird Creek 20K! Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Bird Creek trailhead at the end of Konikson Rd. We will journey to the ford site and beyond to a suitable turnaround point on this out and back route. Snowshoes will be the order of the day, as we work our way through dark hemlock forest and deep into soft powder along the creek.
Lee Helzer will lead "Lighthouse" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at the Rainbow trailhead for a 6:30 departure. We will reverse Juzgado de la Nieve navigating via a series of lighthouses.
Jesse Gobeli will lead "Juzgado de la Nieve" with a duration of 3 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Rainbow trailhead. We will follow the newly established creek trail through deep snow conditions until we reach the safety of the hemlock forest. From there, we will ascend snow free beneath verdant canopy to an intersection with the upper highway trail. Our descent route will be based on the desires of the participants. Snowshoes are the accessory of choice for this epic.
E. Marquez will lead "Falls Creek" with a duration of 3.5 hours somewwhere in Turnagain Arm.
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Falls Creek trailhead. We will ascend the main trail to the valley below South Suicide and return. Snowshoes are recommended.

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the weigh station just south of Potter Marsh. We will follow the Turnagain Arm trail for a mile or so before bushwhacking uphill. We will complete a loop route back to the start.

Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the McHugh Creek trailhead. We will run out the main trail to a lake at 3,000 feet and return.

Meet for a 6:30 departure from the Bird Valley Trailhead at the end of Konikson Rd. We will head out the Bird Valley trail to a possible river ford then return via nearly the same route.
